Creating meaningful pieces for others is one of the happiest things I can think of doing. Getting absorbed in the creative process is fulfilling, even though it can be frustrating and foggy at times. It gives me energy and purpose ... it steers me on a mysterious and winding path, comforts me to keep going, and challenges me to play.
My subject matter is inspired by the awesomeness of nature, and my approach is often intuitive or experimental. My style seems to gravitate towards expressionism, focusing on movement and color. With mixed media pieces I like to explore texture, repetition, and unity.
